| Abstract: | Ants of the genus Aenictus are recorded from Laos for the first time. Here, we report six species including a new species and a new status: Aenictus binghami Forel, A. cf. dentatus Forel, A. doydeei Jaitrong et Yamane, sp. nov., A. cf. fuchuanensis Zhou, A. hodgsoni Forel, stat. nov., and A. nishimurai Terayama et Kubota. A. doydeei sp. nov. is very probably a nocturnal species. |
